The Empire Theatre
In 1970, I remember standing in line at the Empire Theatre with my girlfriend holding pillows. "Gone with the Wind" was playing; it was a long movie. Everyone had a pillow. Additionally in those days, I saw a couple of plays and graduations there. Today, I sat with those memories after reading about Gary Pollard's plight regarding The Empire (see The Editor's Inbox). That memory alone inspired me to send a donation; the check's in the mail. Just saying...
