The Block Island Times

Welcome to St. Ann's By-The-Sea

We are a spiritual community focusing on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ by being a prayerful, active and welcoming presence to all on Block Island.

We are located on Spring Street. Coming from town we are just off the road on your left, look for our sign.

Services are held year-round on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. with a coffee hour after the service. Check the Block Island Times and our website: for Holy Week and Christmas schedules.

Taize services - Every fourth Wednesday of the month at St. Ann's, there is a time when, together, people stop their busy lives and make time to enter into the peaceful communion with God that exists in silent prayer. Join us for our next Taize service of sacred hymns, meditation, candlelight, and the Island Drummers.  Times are 5 p.m. in the fall and winter and 7 p.m. in the spring and summer.
