A fundraiser for St. Ann’s By-the-Sea called “Ricotta & Racconti,” will be held for Friday, November 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Included is a sumptuous Italian dinner prepared by Theresa Sisto and Mike Ballard; wine and non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers and dessert; and an after-dinner story program by professional storyteller Carolyn Martino, who has been called “one of Rhode Island’s most influential artists” by the Providence Phoenix. She has been entertaining audiences of all ages for years at schools and libraries, festivals, women’s groups, and senior communities, churches and temples throughout New England and beyond. Aiming to delight, inspire and make your heart sing, Martino embraces her audiences with warmth, humor and style.

For her Block Island audience on November 2, she plans to present “After Dinner Mints: Stories to Improve your Digestion,” a program of after-dinner stories, jokes and other assorted goodies guaranteed to aid your digestion, lift your spirits, and make you feel good all over.
