"Island Nurse" Film Screening, starring Mary D.

Saturday, March 30th at 2:00 pm in the School Gym will be the first program of the season sponsored by the Block Island Historical Society. "Island Nurse", produced by Susan Hagedorn,PhD,RN and Seedworks Films, funded in part by a grant from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities highlights the work of recently retired nurse, Mary Donnelly who is also the longest employed state nurse in Rhode Island. This premier screening will follow with a Question & Answer session with Susan and Mary D. Bring family and friends for an entertaining afternoon. Tickets sold at the door: Children are free, Adult admission: $2.50 or donations are accepted to the Block Island Historical Society.
