Monday, January 14

Dining Delivered: It’s Block Island’s version of Meals on Wheels, homemade at the Block Island Grocery. Call Betsey DeMaggio at 466-2339 to have your meal delivered to your door. Cost, $5. (Please try to give 24 hours notice if possible.)

Tuesday, January 15

Chair Aerobics: Raise your arms with Robin at the Community Center from 10:30 a.m to 11 a.m. Cost, $3.

Lunch Bunch: A delicious lunch — a jolly bunch! All are welcome to partake at the Community Center at 12:30 p.m. Cost, $4.

Wednesday, January 16

Wednesday Walk: Meet at Heinz Field at 10 a.m. for a walk and talk on the track. See you there!

Thursday, January 17

Facebook 101: Back by popular demand, we have our high school superstars, Thea Monje and Kathleen Hemingway, here to teach us everything you ever wanted to know about Facebook at the Island Free Library from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Stop in when you can. Free and fabulous.

Friday, January 18

Monday, January 21

Wakefield/Westerly trip to America: Head over on the boat and take the recreation van to Westerly in the morning and to Wakefield in the afternoon. The schedule will be flexible based on who needs what. You must sign up for this trip by Wednesday, January 16. Please email or call.

Wednesday, January 23

Arts & Crafts Pinch a Pot Part II: This will be the second part of the class for those that have already created their pot of clay. We will meet again with Becca at the Harbor Baptist Church from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. to glaze our creations that will then be fired in the kiln for us.

Wednesday, January 30

Marinara for Men: Class for men who only know how to boil water. Limited to four per class. Call Sandra Kelly at 466-2802 to sign up. Class will be held at her home from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Bring a 1-pint container for a doggie bag.
