Contest begins: From Saturday December 1, until Saturday, December 21, we are sponsoring a “Get in Your Groove and Make a Move” contest! The winner takes home more muscle mass and mega mula! (We will draw cards if there’s a tie.) So earn your points and get a move’n and a groove’n. You get “1” point for each time you exercise. You get “2” points if you exercise with someone else, and you get a bonus “10” points if you find a support buddy to check in with each day for all 21 days! I don’t care if you are lifting soup cans, doing lunges while brushing your teeth, bench-pressing your cane, or dancing doing the dishes — if you make a conscious choice to move more than you did the day before, it counts! Keep track, scouts honor! Now all you Bundled up Bikers and Wednesday Walkers can exercise every day of the week!

Monday, December 3:

Wrentham Village Outlets: Leaving the island on the 8:15 a.m. boat and returning to the island on the 4:45 p.m. boat. Time to kick off your holiday shopping! Choose from over 170 discount stores. I will give you a map ahead of time so you know right where you are headed. There are plenty of places to shop and when you are ready to rest your feet, you can grab a bite. Your cost is the boat and anything that you may purchase at the outlet mall.

All you need are comfortable clothes, a dishtowel (we will use it for some resistance work), and an open mind. This workout is great for seniors, people recovering from an injury, or anyone looking to find more ways to sneak a workout into your day. Almost anyone can be successful in and challenged by this work-at-your-own-pace class. Led by Robin Lewis, an IFA certified instructor. $3
