In a special Town Council meeting to formalize discussions from Wednesday's Feb. 19 meeting to delay the deer culling scheduled to begin on Feb. 24, the council unanimously passed, 4-0, (Councilor Ken Lacoste was unable to attend) a motion reading:

We request the D.E.M to reschedule the deer reduction program to the 2014/2015 season and that the town meet with the D.E.M and White Buffalo to discuss the future of the project.
