The Historical Board is pleased to announce the retaining of architectural consultant James Thomas to assist in updating the condition report of the single largest piece in the Society's collection, its home, the Woonsocket House building. James, who visited in mid-February, will be giving particular attention to assessing possibilities for our west gallery, kitchen and middle hall spaces in anticipation of entering new funding rounds. President Bob Champagne-Willis has worked successfully with James on other projects is familiar with his work. The Board plans to continue the painstaking restoration work of the past several years with additional grants and private gifts and looks forward to working with James and all our friends and supporters to that end.
