We are the Block Island Headquarters for all of your fishing needs! The only full service tackle shop that offers local, knowledgeable resident Charter Captains & Guides.  Our store at 40 Ocean Avenue, in New Harbor, carries a large selection of tackle specific to your needs here on Block Island.  We carry live eels and mummies as well as a large selection of frozen bait for near shore and offshore needs.  Clamming rakes and buckets and well as crabbing gear are also available.  Rod rentals for the just day or overnight have tackle and bait included.

Local guide Capt. Christopher Willi is a fully insured, USCG Licensed, and certified captain by the I.G.F.A.  He's a Rhode Island native and a graduate of URI with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and Management.  He has lived and fished on Block Island since 1992, began guiding the fantastic Block Island beaches in 1998, and opened a tackle store on Ocean Avenue in 2002.  Chris is the only resident guide which specializes in Light Tackle and Fly Fishing and runs trips from from New Harbor and Old Harbor in his 23' Maycraft 'Jessica Kate'.  The 2010 addition of a 26' Regulator center console allows a longer range to target tuna, mahi, and shark.  He's fished up and down the East Coast, Colorado, Utah, Hawaii, Gulf of Mexico, and as far away as Japan.  Chris is an advocate of recreational fishing conservation and responsible commercial fishing practices. Chris welcomes all abilities and enjoys getting the 'new comer' hooked on the sport of fishing.
